Service and website

Tokarea is an iPhone app for organising private groups, shared chores, shopping lists, expenses and group messages. The provider operates tokarea.com, its public legal and support pages, and the Tokarea service.

Tokarea does not act as a payment intermediary or hold the money recorded in group expenses. Purchases of Tokarea Pro are made through Apple In-App Purchase.

Prices and contracting

Where Tokarea refers to a paid product, the app and Apple purchase sheet display the product, billing period and final price, including applicable taxes, before confirmation. Monthly and yearly plans are auto-renewable subscriptions; “Forever” is a one-time non-consumable purchase. The Terms of Use explain trials, renewal, cancellation, restoration and withdrawal.

Intellectual property

The Tokarea name, software, design and original content of this website belong to the provider or are used under the corresponding licence. Access does not transfer those rights. You may use the service and public information for their intended personal purpose, without removing notices, exploiting them commercially or reproducing protected elements beyond what the law permits.

People using Tokarea retain the rights they hold in content they add to a group, subject to the limited permissions needed to provide the service as set out in the Terms of Use.

Responsibility and external links

Reasonable steps are taken to keep the public information accurate and the service operational. Availability can nevertheless be affected by connectivity, maintenance and technical incidents. External links lead to services governed by their own terms and policies.

Nothing in this notice excludes a responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits non-waivable consumer rights. The detailed service rules, conformity obligations and proportionate limitations are set out in the Terms of Use.

Governing law and disputes

This notice and the Tokarea service are governed by Spanish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. Courts are determined by mandatory jurisdiction rules, including those protecting the consumer’s place of jurisdiction; no different exclusive court is imposed.
